Who are we?

A non-profitable association, non-political adherent and, though bearing a catholic mark it has full respect for others religious freedom.
An association founded by Leiria's City Hall, the Diocese of Leiria-Fatima, the Catholic Independent Organization and Caritas. All this because of the obvious importance the issue has, not only has far as foreign immigrants were concerned, but also because of the importance it has to the Portuguese society.
CLAII (Centro Local de Apoio ao Imigrante):
Information services on social and legal matters.
GIP (Gabinete de Inserção Profissional):
Reception, information and professional counselling; support in the search of job and / or formation.

GAJI Extension (Gabinete de Apoio Jurídico ao Imigrante) In co-operation with CNAI Lisboa, offers a juridical support and assistance service.

 

 

Portuguese lessons for foreign citizens

Courses of Portuguese as second-language.
Lessons of the Ukrainian language, Ukrainian culture and interculturality for children:
Supports immigrant communities in the cultural initiatives they intend to develop.
Amigrante's library :
Several books on the migration field available for consult.
